Early in 1995, it was announced there would be a Brand New comic series for
Battlestar Galactica. Well, we, in particular, on the BSG Mailing list were
waiting and waiting and waiting for it to come out. The wait was driving us
all bonkers so to say. We kept checking our local comic stores every Wednesday
only to hear, "It wasn't shipped this week." Finally, on August 9, 1995, it
was there. We were all overjoyed. It continued the story of the original
Galactica voyages totally ignoring the Galactica 80 series.
The comic is working in a series of stories. The premier is entitled "War of
Eden" consisting of four issues. The story continues in the next series, "The
Enemy Within." There is also a trilogy based on Starbuck's mix up with the
Eastern Alliance and Cylons, a series written in conjunction with Richard Hatch,
and the Asylum series.
Without further ado, here is the current listing of the new Battlestar
