The girls were going to dinner.  Each had a different dinner partner
and none of the girls arrived at dinner  at the same time. Using the
following clues, determine the order in which the girls left for
dinner, who  took them to dinner, what each had as a before dinner
drink, and the color of dress each wore.

1. Athena waved at Apollo as she sat down to dinner, wearing a white
   dress.
2. Cassie, who was not wearing blue sipped ambrosia.
3. Bojay was in the turboshower when Starbuck left for dinner.
4. Jolly and his date who drank java were the third to arrive.
5. Bojay's dinner companion wore a black dress and drank grog.
6. Cassie whose date's name did not start with a B, left before the
   girl wearing black.
7. Sheba spilt berry juice on her purple dress and passed Brie arriving
   as she went to clean it.
8. Deidra was the first to leave for dinner and drank water.
9. Starbuck arrived with his date after Apollo and Boomer.
10. The girl in red had dinner with Apollo

Here is the answer to the riddle I posted lastt week.

Deidra arrived 1st with Boomer, drank Water and wore Blue
Cassie arrived 2nd with Apollo, drank Ambrosia and wore Red.
Athena arrived 3rd with Jolly, drank Java and wore White
Sheba arrived 4th with Starbuck, drank Berry juice and wore purple
Brie arrived 5th with Bojay, drank grog and wore black.

I solved it using the following logic given from the clues:
Athena wore white and did not have dinner with Apollo.

Cassie drank ambrosia and did not wear blue, white (clue 1),
black (clue5) or purple (clue 7).  Therefore she was in red and
had dinner with Apollo.

Sheba drank berry juice and wore a purple dress.

Diedra drank water.  We have either the dress color or the drink
known for 4 of the 5 girls. Therefore if Diedra drank water, and
Athena wore white neither was Bojay's date (clue 5).  Brie wore
black and drank grog.  Diedra wore blue. And Athena drank java.

Athena arrived 3rd  with Jolly (clue 4) and Deidra was 1st (clue #8)

Starbuck did not arrive 1 or 2 (clue 9) nor did he arrive 3 (clue 4)
nor did he arrive 5th (clue 3).  Therefore he was 4th.  From clue 9
Apollo and Boomer arrived before Starbuck, therefore Boomer arrived
first with Deidra and Apollo arrived 2nd with Cassie.

Starbuck arrived 4th and Bojay arrived after Starbuck (clue3)

Sheba passed Brie arriving as she left to clean her dress.  Therefore
Starbuck had dinner with Sheba and Bojay had dinner with Brie.
