Continuing the Walk to Jonathan's Apartment

Returning to Acqua Paola...

If you turn around from looking at the Acqua Paolo, you have this view of this city.

On the right, you can see a white building with two statues poking into the blue sky. That is the Victor Emmanuel Monument (Il Vittoriano), and will be seen later in this trip. In case you are wondering, none of those domes are St. Peter's Basilica. The Vatican is not in this picture.

By this point, I was already impressed with what I was seeing.

Around here, somewhere, are steps we must descend. Let's walk around Acqua Paola.

I don't see any yet. Do you? I do not believe the steps on the other side of that tiny car are the ones. Did we miss them?

I think I saw something on the other side of this wall, across the small via.

That's at least the bottom of the steps. Now we only have to find the top and walk down them.
