Tempietto Di San Pietro
This was built in 1502 by Donato Bramante, on the site of an earlier ninth-century church.
Both the former church and this one are dedicate to Saint Peter.
It marks a traditional location of St. Peter's crucifixion.
Walking down Via Garibaldo from Acqua Paola, you may not notice
what the side of this building is, but there is a cross in view on a steeple.
This is after taking a short walk towards Via Garibaldi and looking back up steps.
